Our 1ºESO D students took their love for movies to the next level with an exciting film review project in their English classes, exploring a wide range of genres from the spine-chilling mysteries and horror films to adventurous journeys and heartwarming romances.

Laia López, Andrea Pernia, and Lucía Mariño shared their enthusiasm for the project:
«This is a project that we made in 1ºESO D in English classes with Maria Olaya Sánchez Carrero. We did a lot of film reviews and we put them in our class. We have a variety of films including everything from mystery and horror to adventure and romance. We also love being able to use computers to make the project nicer to see. We have also comentted and recomended movies to all of us. We would definetely do it again!»

Using computers added a creative edge, as students designed visually appealing reviews that were displayed in the classroom for everyone to enjoy. The project didn’t just involve writing; it also sparked discussions and recommendations among classmates, fostering a shared passion for cinema.

This activity is a fantastic example of how English learning can merge with creativity, critical thinking, and fun. Well done, 1ºESO D! We can’t wait for the sequel. 🎬
