Students from the second year of ESO took on an intriguing project to investigate whether the phases of the moon influence birth rates. Working in groups, they researched birth dates among family and friends and matched them to the corresponding lunar phases. \u201cWe calculate the coincidences between all the lunar phases and observe that these had almost the same number of people. Thus, we came to the conclusion that the lunar phases have nothing to do with births,\u201d the students explained.<\/p>\n
