Los xe\u00f3logos y xe\u00f3logues atoparon xigantes de sal de miles de kil\u00f3metros c\u00fabicos n&#8217;Europa, Australia, Siberia, Oriente Mediu y otres rexones.<\/p>\n<p>El mar Mediterr\u00e1neu sufri\u00f3 fai 6 millones d&#8217;a\u00f1os<strong> una crisis de sal\u00edn que llev\u00f3 a la evaporaci\u00f3n d&#8217;un mill\u00f3n de metros c\u00fabicos d&#8217;agua<\/strong>, lo que provoc\u00f3&#8217;l so aislamientu con respectu al oc\u00e9anu Atl\u00e1nticu y la creaci\u00f3n de montes o \u201cgrandes xigantes\u201d de sal qu&#8217;ocupaben kil\u00f3metros de distancia.<\/p>\n<p>La restricci\u00f3n de los estrechos ente&#8217;l Mediterr\u00e1neu y l&#8217;Atl\u00e1nticu result\u00f3 en <strong>fluctuaciones abruptes de sal\u00edn y temperatura, am\u00e1s d&#8217;alteriar les rutes de migraci\u00f3n de los organismos marinos, el fluxu de b\u00e1rabos y plancton, y alteri\u00f3 procesos centrales del ecosistema.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"xu06os2 x1ok221b\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CSIC\/\u00a0 Art\u00edculo \/ABC\u00a0 \/ VIDEU \/ tiny.cc\/ly1kzz Un xigante de sal\u2019 provoc\u00f3 la estinci\u00f3n de gran parte de la biodiversid\u00e1 mediterr\u00e1nea fai m\u00e1s de 5 millones d&#8217;a\u00f1os.
