Tres la victoria de les tropes lliberales, ufiertaren a soldaos, mancaos y vecinos un ranchu de garbanzos con bacal\u00e1u y espinaques, como xestu de paz y reconciliaci\u00f3n. Los sos or\u00edxenes rem\u00f3ntense a agostu de 1836 cuando los carlistes llograron entrar na ciud\u00e1, llev\u00e1ndose les armes de la f\u00e1brica d&#8217;armes del Font\u00e1n y el dineru del Conceyu. Intentaron repitir la incursi\u00f3n n&#8217;ochobre, pero esta vegada fueron refugaos. Tres la defensa, la Diputaci\u00f3n entam\u00f3&#8217;l 10 d&#8217;ochobre una gran comida con llegumes, carne, embut\u00edu y sidra o vinu, coincidiendo col cumplea\u00f1os d&#8217;Isabel II.
