Fund\u00e1u en 1985 por Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata \u2014creador de les populares series Heidi (1974) y Marcu (1976)\u2014 y Toshio Suzuki, l&#8217;estudiu cre\u00f3 dalgunes de les pel\u00edcules animaes m\u00e1s reconoc\u00edes pola cr\u00edtica y el p\u00fablicu.<\/p>\n<p>Los or\u00edxenes de Studio Ghibli rem\u00f3ntense a la collaboraci\u00f3n entre Miyazaki y Takahata na pel\u00edcula Kaze non Tani non Naushika (Nausica\u00e4 del Valle del Vientu), basada n&#8217;un manga de Miyazaki. L&#8217;\u00e9situ d&#8217;esta pel\u00edcula llev\u00f3 a la fundaci\u00f3n del estudiu col sofitu del productor Toshio Suzuki.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El so estilu tradicional, con <strong>dibuxos fechos a mano, pintures acr\u00edliques y acuareles<\/strong>, foi una de les sos marques distintives y contribuy\u00f3 a la universalid\u00e1 de les sos hestories. Miyazaki esplega nesta cinta un discursu cr\u00edticu sobro la socied\u00e1 xaponesa moderna, qu&#8217;afonda nos conflictos xeneracionales, la disoluci\u00f3n de la cultura tradicional nuna socied\u00e1 globalizada y la destrucci\u00f3n del mediu ambiente. La cinta bati\u00f3 tolos r\u00e9cords de recaldaci\u00f3n y ye la pel\u00edcula d&#8217;animaci\u00f3n xaponesa m\u00e1s premiada de la hestoria, incluyendo&#8217;l galard\u00f3n de meyor pel\u00edcula nos premios de l&#8217;Academia del Cine de Xap\u00f3n (2001), l&#8217;Osu d&#8217;Oru nel Festival de Cine de Berl\u00edn (2002) y l&#8217;\u00d3scar a la meyor pel\u00edcula d&#8217;animaci\u00f3n (2003).<\/p>\n<p>Otros de los celebraos trabayos del estudiu son Howl non Ugoku Shiro (El castiellu ambulante, 2004); Gake non ue non Ponyo (Ponyo nel cantil, 2008), que supunxo&#8217;l so regresu a la t\u00e9cnica del dibuxu manual, ensin imaxes xeneraes por ordenador; Karigurashi non Arrietty (Arrietty y el mundu de los diminutos, 2010) y Kaze Tachinu (El vientu llev\u00e1ntase, 2013). Omoide non M\u0101n\u012b (L&#8217;alcordanza de Marnie, 2014), dirixida por Hiromasa Yonebayashi, y \u0100y\u00e1 to Mayo (Earwig y la bruxa, 2020), de Gor\u014d Miyazaki, son dalgunos de los \u00faltimos llargumetraxes del estudiu. En 2023, Miyazaki volvi\u00f3 a la direcci\u00f3n cola pel\u00edcula Kimitachi wa D\u014d Ikiru ka (El mozu y la garza), cola que llogr\u00f3 de nuevu l&#8217;aponderamientu de la cr\u00edtica y que-y report\u00f3 al estudiu&#8217;l so segundu premiu \u00d3scar.<\/p>\n<p>Nel a\u00f1u 2024 l&#8217;estudiu recibi\u00f3 la Palma d&#8217;Oru honor\u00edfico nel Festival de Cannes (primer vegada na hestoria del galard\u00f3n que nun recay\u00eda nuna persona).<\/p>\n<p>Studio Ghibli tami\u00e9n produci\u00f3 curtiumetraxes, anuncios de televisi\u00f3n y videoxuegos.<\/p>\n<p>Am\u00e1s de les reconocencies recib\u00edes por Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki recibi\u00f3, de forma individual, el Lli\u00f3n d&#8217;Oru por tola so trayectoria nel Festival Internacional de Cine de Venecia en 2005, el Karl Edward Wagner Award (Reinu Un\u00edu, 2009), l&#8217;\u00d3scar honor\u00edficu de l&#8217;Academia de les Artes y les Ciencies Cinematogr\u00e1fiques d&#8217;Estaos Xun\u00edos en 2014 y el Life Achievement de los World Fantasy Awards (EE.
