La rede ta formada por 1.468 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #008080;text-decoration: underline\">Llugares d&#8217;Importancia Comu\u00f1al (LIC)<\/span><\/span>, que se converten en <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #008080;text-decoration: underline\">Zones Especiales de Caltenimientu (ZEC)<\/span><\/span>, y 662 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #008080;text-decoration: underline\">Zones d&#8217;Especial Protecci\u00f3n para les Aves (ZEPA).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>La Rede Natura 2000 ye la mayor rede d&#8217;\u00e1rees protex\u00edes del mundu \ud83c\udf0d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<!-- iframe plugin v.6.0 wordpress.org\/plugins\/iframe\/ -->\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F794320813611544%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=476&#038;t=0\" width=\"476\" height=\"476\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" 0=\"\/iframe\" class=\"iframe-class\"><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/es\/biodiversidad\/temas\/espacios-protegidos\/red-natura-2000\/rn_espana\/_jcr_content\/root\/container\/container-main\/container-content\/image8.coreimg.jpeg\/1779277855371\/rn2000-dic2025.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/es\/biodiversidad\/temas\/espacios-protegidos\/red-natura-2000\/rn_espana\/_jcr_content\/root\/container\/container-main\/container-content\/image8.coreimg.jpeg\/1779277855371\/rn2000-dic2025.jpeg\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1357\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>En xunto, estos espacios protexen una superficie total de m\u00e1s de 222.000 km\u00b2, <strong>lo que representa aprosimao&#8217;l 27,35% del territoriu nacional.<\/strong> D&#8217;esta estensi\u00f3n, m\u00e1s de 138.000 km\u00b2 correspuenden a superficie terrestre y unos 84.300 km\u00b2 a superficie marina, cubriendo una gran varied\u00e1 d&#8217;h\u00e1bitats y especies protex\u00edes so la Directiva H\u00e1bitats y la Directiva Aves.<\/p>\n<p>Dalgunes de les zones m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1tiques incluy\u00edes nesta rede son: Do\u00f1ana, <span style=\"color: #008080\"><strong>Picos d&#8217;Europa,<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 La selva d&#8217;Irati (Navarra), Focetes del R\u00edu Riaza (Segovia), Fondos de posidonia en Murcia y la Cuenca del R\u00edu Manzanares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/content\/dam\/miteco\/es\/biodiversidad\/temas\/biodiversidad-marina\/espacios\/rn2k-marina-miteco.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/content\/dam\/miteco\/es\/biodiversidad\/temas\/biodiversidad-marina\/espacios\/rn2k-marina-miteco.jpg\" width=\"2338\" height=\"1653\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">El<a href=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/es\/biodiversidad\/temas\/biodiversidad-marina\/espacios-marinos-protegidos\/red-natura-2000-ambito-marino\/zec-el-cachucho.html\"> cachuchu (Asturies) VER<\/a><\/p>\n<p>La declaraci\u00f3n d&#8217;El Cachuchu como AMP supunxo un finxu para&#8217;l caltenimientu del patrimoniu natural mar\u00edn espa\u00f1ol. <strong>Esp\u00e9rase qu&#8217;esti espaciu protex\u00edu s\u00eda&#8217;l primeru<\/strong> de toa una serie que constituya un sistema coherente, bien xestion\u00e1u y acorde cola nuesa rica biodiversid\u00e1 marina y colos compromisos internacionales adquir\u00edos per Espa\u00f1a que garantice&#8217;l so leg\u00e1u a les xeneraciones futures.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00f3pase asiti\u00e1u al norte de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, nel mar Cant\u00e1bricu, frente a la localid\u00e1 asturiana de Ribesella y a una distancia de 65 *km de la mari\u00f1a nel llargor 5\u00ba*W.
