Foi un <strong>astr\u00f3nomu, xe\u00f3grafu ya inxenieru italianu<\/strong> naturaliz\u00e1u franc\u00e9s. Cassini <strong>realiz\u00f3 observaciones de Saturno que dexaron identificar cuatro de los sos sat\u00e9lites y estudiar con precisi\u00f3n la estructura de los sos an\u00edos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRj2NWKyDBKbQwW8qgO4CRFsxLpeU4jyZHeY8xEYVx4rA&amp;s\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRj2NWKyDBKbQwW8qgO4CRFsxLpeU4jyZHeY8xEYVx4rA&amp;s\" width=\"246\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>En 1675 describi\u00f3 la divisi\u00f3n esistente ente los an\u00edos A y B, xuna rex\u00f3n que darr\u00e9u recibi\u00f3&#8217;l nome de divisi\u00f3n de Cassini.
