As a preparation for the exercises in Open World, study the explanations at the top of the webpage, which include how to make a passive sentence, and also this video with the pronunciation of 50 of the most common irregular past participles:

Do the 7 sets of exercises, classified from intermediate to difficult.

♦   Grammar practice:  Linking words of contrast: exercises+key (pdf)

♦   Listening practice: This is a listening activity in two parts on the topic of Relationships and Health and lifestyles.  Listen to it 3 times, as usual, and then see if your answers match the key.
Read the tapescripts carefully. The second listening contains useful tips for a healthy lifestyle that could be used for oral expression, mediation and writing activities.
