Animating with functions 2

Hi
We are going to use Geogebra to animate things but, first, some game practice:
(we need a little bit of help to play. The game uses linear functions, -rectas- in the form y=mx+n.)
a) Horizontal lines, in the form y=a number
b) Vertical lines, in the form x=a number
c) Full lines in the form y=mx+n, where m=slope –pendiente o inclinación– and m is y-intercept –la ordenada (la y) en el origen (x=0)-,
1. Now we can play this game:
2. Another game:
https://www.coolmathgames.com/es/0-bloxorz
2. Animation time. Choose a character (best with transparent background), I’m going with my faithful Homer:

a) First we are creating an scene with some tricks to change the functions and show/hide things.
b) Then we are going to insert the image to move aorund, and learn how to do properly.
c) Then we are going to be creative.

Functions I

Muy buenas
- We’re starting a new section, thankfully, and we’re going to put some basic resources here, but first we’ll try to improve our mental math skills:
2. Here are a few constructions. We’ll look at them and then try to do some simpler ones, using the most common families of functions. As always, you need to send me screenshots of these constructions.
Y unos pocos vídeos:

Quadratic problems and more
Second degree equations II

0. Some mental calculations, like past friday:
https://www.geogebra.org/m/umcPNQbw#material/maquwuvn
- I’ve made this applets to help you with your first attempts, solve 5 in your notebook and check the answers in the app:
2. Practice, practice, practice, with JC:
https://www.geogebra.org/m/AsMKtWd4#material/cSNQG8tQ
3. You can use the last ten minutes of this class to improve your short history of the solution of the second degree equation.
A trick to memorize the formula:

4. This is for next class:
Second degree equations

0. Some mental calculation:
https://www.geogebra.org/m/umcPNQbw#material/maquwuvn
- Now time to be creative: use Canva, Genially, Powerpoint or any other software of your preference to create a short history of the solution of the second degree equation. It can be in comic form, or text with ilustrations. Send it to me at the end of the class.
- Time to translate (into english and into algebra):
Equations

- Some mental training:

Practise is Key, so…
2. Solve these equations in your notebook, and use Symbolab to check the answer:
Notable products

Hi, today we start as usual:
1. https://chemarias.com/cm/tabla/index.html. Ten minutes and one screenshot.
And now, some Cayetanos:
