February exam dates

On Tuesday 22nd February we’ll be doing an exam in class. It will consist of:

  • a LISTENING exercise
  • a READING exercise
  • a WRITING: AN ARTICLE (180 words). You will be able to choose from two or three topics, but in one of them you will be asked to write about a hobby or sport you do (when you took it up, when you do it, why it is enjoyable/recommendable, what’s challenging/thrilling… about it, etc).
Prepare what you can include in your article in advance. Remember the tips of advice on article writing you can find in Unit 10 and in the Writing Bank (pp. 240-1, Open World)

We are now starting Unit 11, so try to get updated on the vocabulary and grammar of the unit if you are not attending class at the moment.
