On Saint Patrick´s Day we have a look at Irish literature.

In fact, it is remarkable how such a small country has been recognised with the Nobel Prize for Literature on four occasions so far: Yeats Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett and the last one, Seamus Heaney, who used to spend his holidays here in Asturias.  Besides, John Banville was granted the Prince of Asturias Award for Literature a few years ago. Apart from them, who hasn´t heard about James Joyce’s Ulysses, Oscar Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost or The Happy Prince, Jonathan Swift´s Gulliver´s Travels, Bram Stoker´s Dracula or C.S.
